Everything I’ve ever built started with a conversation.

At the core of every business I’ve built? Connection. With people, with purpose, and with what really matters. Here’s the story of how Adele Agencies came to be—told in the only way that makes sense: one bold move at a time.

Always been a yapper.

Apparently I’ve been taking calls since I was two. My mom said I never stopped talking—and honestly, not much has changed. Connection has always been my superpower.

Saving up to bet on myself

Graduated with $20K in the bank from working all through high school. Not bad for a kid with big dreams and zero backup plan.

Baby steps…my first "real business” My Little Sunshine Baby Boutique

At 22, I opened my first retail business. It was cute, chaotic, and the start of everything. I had no clue what I was doing. I just knew I wanted to own a business.

Made the news

The little shop that could. People took notice—and that momentum turned into my first taste of impact.

North of bold

I guess I was a serial entrepreneur at this point. Building northern Manitoba’s first purpose-based hot yoga studio and wellness center. Dust, drywall, and a lot of vision. (And tears 😅)

Headlines again

The people wanted yoga. Now 29, With two babies in tow, we travelled across Canada so I could get certified in thousands of hours of multiple styles of yoga and breathwork training to deliver to the north. I still remember watching the kids play at a campsite park after a full day of training practicing the phonetic sound of “dandayamana bibhaktapada paschimottanasana”. I somehow did it. Those were wild times.

I named the studio “Mo Tus Nua”

It means My New Beginning, in Irish Gaelic. Like my Irish background, I didn’t know much about it, but it called me. Mo Tus Nua soon became not just a new beginning for me, but for students, teachers and visitors across Canada. I’ll never forget it. xx

Not just a yoga studio

Facade of Mo Tús Nua Wellness, a health and wellness center with signs advertising yoga, Pilates, smoothies, juice, and health counseling, decorated with potted flowers outside.

We opened the region’s first real fruit smoothie and juice bar inside the studio. It wasn’t just a wellness center—it was a movement.

School of roots

At 31, I became a Holistic Nutritionist through the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition and brought those tools back north to support real healing.

Another spotlight

Back in the headlines—this time, for bringing integrative health to a region that hadn’t seen it before. And man…was it tough. Almost harder than blue collar mining town meets yoga studio

The Quiet (it was loud at the time) in between

Life cracked open during my divorce. I moved to Alberta, pivoted into finance, and tried to start again. Eventually, I landed in Niverville, Manitoba. With two kids, no support. No village. I had absolutely everything to lose, after losing almost everything already. New place, same spark. I needed to connect and build again, so I got strategic.

Enter the Chamber

At 36, I took on the Executive Director role for the Niverville Chamber of Commerce. Within 3 months, I grew membership by 30%. That got locals talking.

Enter Beyond Brand Media

Businesses started asking for help beyond Chamber hours—and just like that, Beyond Brand Media was born. Just me. My big ideas. And it got me bigger results.

2 years. 200 clients later…

Marketing agencies started retaining me to work with their clients. Through Canada’s Digital Adoption Program, I supported 200 businesses across Canada. Strategy, systems, structure—they got the works. I was burnt right out though. Not aligned with my wellness roots, I knew I needed to change fast.

Because obviously I couldn’t do it all alone…

Still in it, still building.
Jumping into my 40th trip around the sun, I now runs Adele Agencies with big-picture vision and hands-on leadership, supporting founders who want strategy that actually sticks. I also continue my work with Kylie Adele Wellness, leading women toward hormonal health, somatic healing, and whole-body wellness.

What’s your business story? Are you at the beginning? Somewhere in the middle? A quiet in between? I’d love to get you in front of people who value that story. Your purpose, your vision. I’ve been there, and a lot of other dark and lonely spaces in this crazy entrepreneurial world.

If a single mom from Northern Manitoba can do it. So can you.
