Land Acknowledgement

The work that we do is rooted in Manitoba, on the traditional lands of Indigenous peoples. It began in northern Manitoba on Treaty 5 territory, within the Boreal forest, shaped by the enduring legacies, wisdom, and resilience of First Nations and Inuit communities. Today, Adele Agencies operates in southern Manitoba on Treaty 1 territory, the traditional lands of the Anishinaabe, Cree, Dakota, and Red River Métis.

Indigenous culture and kinship are part of our story. That connection informs the values behind this work and the responsibility to continue learning, listening, and acting with respect in how we communicate, how we show up for our clients, online, and with each other.

We recognize of the lasting impacts of colonization and the ongoing work required to address its legacy. We are committed to continued education, reflection, and meaningful action in support of healing, justice, and reconciliation.
